She was born Dec. 31, 1930, in Center Point, the daughter of Roscoe and Fern (Siples) Glitz.
She graduated from Ashboro High School with the class of 1949.
On Dec. 8, 1949, she married Theodore "Ted" Brown. Mrs. Brown was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter Nancy Brown Howell.
Survivors include her husband of 59 years Ted, daughter Deanna Roberts and husband Brent, Clay City, and grandchildren Deric Roberts and wife Megan, Brock Roberts, and Nicole (Howell) Brown and husband Cory.
Services will be at Schoppenhorst Funeral Home, Clay City, Saturday, Dec. 6, 2008, at 1 p.m., with Pastor Nathan Couch officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the funeral home Friday from 4-8 p.m.
