Tammi Lynn Embry Schurick, 50, Brazil, died unexpectedly Dec. 4, 2008, at 4:02 a.m., at St. Vincent Clay Hospital.
She was born March 1, 1958, in Marion County, the daughter of Clayton Embry and Beatrice Crabb Embry. She was a home health aide and was one of the primary caregivers for her grandparents, Harley "Dutch" Crabb and Mary Crabb.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bea and Clayton "Speedy" Embry, and grandparents Dutch and Mary Crabb.
Survivors include her children, Teddi Veatch and husband Kenneth, Englewood, Ohio, and one son Jeremy Embry and wife April, Brazil, three grandchildren, Bryson Veatch, Clayton Veatch, and China Golden, one sister Terri Standley and husband Max, Brazil, two brothers Tim Schurick and wife Chris, Brazil, and Tony Schurick and wife April, Florida, a large extended family of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Cremation was chosen with burial of ashes to take place on Saturday, Dec. 13, at 1 p.m., with Rev. Ernie Rush officiating. French Funeral Home was entrusted to care for the arrangements.
