Light it up!

Sunday, December 7, 2008

The Frank Farmer residence, located at 1319 N. Forest Ave. (north State Road 59), is a celebration of lights this holiday season. The Brazil Times will be out taking pictures of other Clay County homes, churches and businesses decked out in all their holiday cheer as part of a photo gallery on the newspaper's website (www.thebraziltimes.com). To let us know where we can find one of these local light show marvels, provide the name, address and directions to the place to The Times editorial staff during normal business hours at 446-2216, or by e-mail at news@thebraziltimes.com.

Thank you for this wonderful display. Every year my family makes a special trip up that way to see these lights. I miss the lights that used to be in the sub-division there, but Mr. Farmer has never disappointed. Again, Thanks

My family has loved driving around looking at holiday decorations for years, that is until the gas prices went sky high. Electricity went sky high too and many of our favorite homes stopped decorating.

But now gas is reasonable again, and, although electricity bills are still in the clouds, according to the photo gallery on the paper's website it looks like people are decorating again.

Can't wait to hit the road again and see the beautiful homes.

Thanks to all who take the time to spread a little holiday cheer.
