North Clay Seventh grader Nic Yocom ran the Cross Country Junior Olympic regional qualifier in Malta, Ill. on Saturday, Nov. 22. Yocom placed 16th with a time of 14:28 advancing him to the National Junior Olympic Competition in Mechanicsville, Va., on Dec. 13. He will compete against approximately 300 other runners in his age division of 13 and 14 year olds from all over the United States.
