There are plenty of events still going on at Forest Park for residents who are celebrating the 15th Christmas In The Park festivities.
Excited children who haven't told Santa Claus what they want for Christmas this year will be happy to know The Santa House, located in the park, will be open Thursday through Saturday this week, from 6-8 p.m. In addition, the house will be open Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 22-23, from 6-8 p.m., as well.
Carriage rides are also available through Forest Park Friday and Saturday, from 6:30-10:30 p.m., and again Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 22-23, from 6:30-9:30 p.m. The rides begin by the Forest Park swimming pool. Cost is $6 per person.

The Forest Park Christmas Walk is also scheduled for Saturday, from 6-8 p.m., and all park historic cabins will be open. Those interested in joining in the walk are asked to meet at the swimming pool concession stand.
Hot chocolate and cookies will be available, and from 6-7 p.m., Saturday, the Apostolic Tabernacle Youth Choice will be caroling.
Festivities began Nov. 20, with the Snowflake Pageant, and continued through Nov. 28, with cookies and hot chocolate at the Clay County Courthouse in addition to the annual Christmas in the Park Parade and Gift of Christmas Fireworks Show.
Park decorators this year include Signature Signs, Rodgers Veterinary Clinic, Tri-Kappa, Charlie and Peggy Brown, First Assembly of God, Liz's Upholstery, Bee Ridge Church, First Presbyterian Church, Knightsville Masonic Lodge, Clay County Historical Society, John Day, Liz Knieriem, Connie Norris, S.T.R.I.D.E.S., Forest Park Elementary, Pete Paullus, Forest Park Golf Course staff, Clay County Popcorn Festival, Christmas in the Park Committee, First Apostolic Tabernacle, Northview High School Automotive Class, Bedwell Tire, Clover Signs, Brazil Family Medicine, The Door, Frank Beasley, Auto ER, Clay County Humane Society, Annunciation Church, DLS Contracting, Mark Adamson, Eric Vanatti and Family, Bicking Tax Service, Brazil City Hall, Riddell National Bank and Clay County Search and Rescue.
