Boil Order Lifted

Tuesday, December 30, 2008

Shortly after 3 p.m., Tuesday, the Brazil City Water Department notified The Brazil Times that the boil advisory for water customers in Brazil, Carbon, Center Point, Harmony and Knightsville had been lifted.

The boil advisory had stemmed from a break in a four-inch water line near the intersection of State Road 340 and Union Street on Christmas Day.

Due to the holidays, the advisory lasted a few days longer than normal as the city and state health departments were closed.
