She was an avid quilter, who gave many quilts to family members as gifts and donated many to various charities over the years.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Fred McKee, daughters Susan Maj and husband Tony, Hendersonville, N.C., Jennifer Grekin and husband Joseph, Farmington, Mich., and Heather McKee, Berkley, Mich., grandchildren Mia, Bianca, Sofia and Anthony Maj, all of Hendersonville, N.C., and Lily Grekin-McKee, Farmington, Mich., sister Alice Velton and husband Bill, Lawrenceburg, Tenn., brothers Larry Schell and wife Yvonne, Kingsville, Texas, Jimmie Schell and wife Rita, Riley, Ind., and Lloyd Schell and wife Laura, Quincy, Fla.
