All non-profit organizations are always looking for ways to generate money in order to keep functioning.
This year, The Brazil Times wants to help.
At the end of this month, The Times will launch, "Pay it Forward," a tool which is designed to assist Clay County's non-profit organizations.
Every month this year, The Times will profile a different organization to inform readers of the entity's functions and let readers know how donations or volunteering can be made.
Area advertisers will sponsor the "Pay if Forward" pages. Half the money generated by advertisement sales for the month will be donated to the organization in the spotlight.
The Brazil Times is asking for help in choosing the organizations that will be spotlighted throughout the year.
The current Times' online poll, "In your opinion, which non-profit organizations need the most help with funds," is that.
Currently, there are 29 non-profit organizations listed in the poll.
Readers are encouraged to vote in the poll as often as possible. Readers are allowed to vote in the poll only once in a 24-hour period.
However, readers may come back and vote again after the period is over.
