Safe from what the common cold? When I went to school you walked in a foot of snow(at 20 below zero) and was happy you had a school to go to. Spoil them for their future huh. Don`t ever hear of work getting called off. It`s NOT that bad out. Some people have to take off work when they can`t afford to when this happens. When it comes down to brass tacks it makes absolutely no sense! Ask why there are no seat belts in school busses if your really worried. I can ride my Harley without a helmet. Nothing makes sense anymore. WHY?

I remember the winter of 1951-52, when it go so cold and windy that they closed Van Buren and myself and Bill Mercer spent the night at the school with Custodian Don Girton.

Good ole days.

Its not about keeping the kids safe, its about keeping our corporation out of court. If some idiot doesn't dress their kid right and they get sick or a little frostbite, its litigation time! Have a heart attack at school, collect big money! You think it would be any different with a frostbitten pinky? No. Rooster1: Make sense? You can't have control, make unreasonable profits, charge crushing taxes *AND* make sense. *THEY* don't care about sense. They care about power and money. Screw "sense".
