CARBON -- For now, residents of Carbon will have to look for other ways to get a drink of water rather than use the faucet.
At approximately 11 a.m., Sunday, water was shut off in the town due to a slow leak.
"It's leaking somewhere and we can't find it," Carbon Town Marshal and water department representative Ron Keen said. "It's leaking underground somewhere."
Keen said the town's water pressure has been dropping consistently during the past few days.
"We've been having problems in the last four days," he said.
He said the water had been shut off and may not be back up until later Sunday evening and perhaps as late as tomorrow.
"Right now, we're looking at later this afternoon and maybe the evening," Keen said.
