Inclement weather last week forced a cancellation of "United Day for United Way," the United Way of the Wabash Valley's final campaign push to raise money for the organization.
The event has been rescheduled for Friday as four United Way representatives will stand on the rooftop of Baesler's Market, Terre Haute, from 6 a.m.-6 p.m., Friday.
United Way of the Wabash Valley co-chairs Gary Morris and Marla DeHart, along with incoming board president Rick Burger and executive director Troy Fears, will brave the elements Friday to help achieve a goal of $10,000.
Last year, with support of local media, the local united way chapter was able to make a big push toward attaining its goal with "United Day for United Way."
All of the local radio, television stations, outdoor media and print media joined together to weather the elements.
"United Day for United Way," is the final push of United Way of the Wabash Valley's fundraising campaign.
