Stalled semis tie up I-65 traffic

Wednesday, January 28, 2009

HENRYVILLE, Ind. (AP) -- Indiana State Police have reopened the northbound lanes of Interstate 65 near Henryville after they were closed for about two hours because of stalled semitrailers.

Sgt. Jerry Goodin says the trucks had difficulty cresting an icy hill near the Henryville exit, about 20 miles north of Louisville, Ky.

Goodin says road conditions are improving, but they are still hazardous due to slick spots. He said there are numerous slide-off accidents in the area.
