Officials announced Friday afternoon that a Brazil City Police Department officer has been demoted again.
As of midnight, Friday, Mayor Ann Bradshaw said Police Captain Terry Harrison was demoted to the merit position of sergeant at the department.
Bradshaw said her office would not release specific details about Harrison's demotion because it is a confidential personnel issue. However, Bradshaw did confirm her decision was based on administrative and communication issues with Harrison.
On Sept. 23, 2008, Harrison was demoted by Bradshaw and replaced as the police chief by Dave Archer.
A complete story will appear in Saturday's edition of The Brazil Times.
