STAUNTON FIRST CHRISTIAN CHURCH
Sunday School begins at 9:30 a.m., with worship service at 10:30 a.m. Doug Parkey is the minister. If you need transportation to morning worship service, please phone the church office at 446-3211, the bus is wheel-chair equipped. Children's Church and Wee Worship meet at 10:30 a.m. in the Educational Building. Sunday evening service and youth groups meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday evening Bible Study and Prayer Group meets at 7 p.m.
The Elders will meet at 6 p.m., on Monday, Feb. 9, followed by the regular meeting of the church board at 7 p.m.
The Christian Fellowship Club will meet for lunch at Pizza Hut at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 11.
On Saturday, Feb.14, the Young Adult Sunday School Class will be showing the film "Fireproof" at the church at 7 p.m. Dessert will be served afterward and child-care will be provided. A free-will offering will be taken. Everyone is welcome.

Remember that the Community Food Pantry is open in the church's basement on the last Wednesday afternoon of each month, from 3-5 p.m. The next Food Pantry day will be Wednesday, Feb. 25. Anyone in the Staunton area in need of help is welcome. We truly appreciate the support of Staunton Christian Church and Staunton Elementary School, as well as other churches, civic organizations, and individuals, in helping to make this needed outreach a success.
Please remember to keep praying for everyone who is battling illness, as well as all the brave men and women of our military and their families. Also remember in prayer all the folks in nursing homes and hospitals, and those who have lost loved ones. Go out of your way to be kind to someone, and pray for everyone.
