TERRE HAUTE -- The Vigo County Park and Recreation Department will conduct its 23rd Maple Syrup, Pancake and Sausage Breakfast at Fowler Park pioneer village log barn Feb. 21-22, from 8 a.m.-1 p.m.
Featured will be maple syrup produced at Prairie Creek Park's sugar camp.
Breakfast fee is $5 for adults and $2 for children 6-under.
During breakfast hours, the pioneer village and gift shop will be open to visitors.
Maple syrup may be purchased at the breakfast or park office.
The sugar camp is open through February whenever sap is flowing and staff are cooking.
Visitors are always welcome.
Call 812-898-2279 before coming and staff will notify if they are cooking.
The sugar camp will not be open this year during the pancake breakfast if the staff is not cooking.
Fowler Park is seven miles south of Interstate-70 off United States 41 and Prairie Creek Park is four miles south of Fowler off US 41.
