Hedden receives promotion

NORTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. --Toray Plastics (America), Inc., North America's only manufacturer of precision-performance polyester and polypropylene film, recently announced that former Wabash Valley resident Chad Hedden was named National Sales Manager for the Torayfan Division.

He will oversee Toray's North American sales team and be responsible for growth in PET and OPP films among strategic customers and key accounts in the packaging sector.

Heddon most recently served as a manager in Toray's Strategic Alliance Group, a position he held since 2008. He joined Toray in 2006 as a Product Manager in the Torayfan Division and also assumed responsibilities in the Strategic Alliance Group.

Prior to joining Toray, Hedden worked with Tredegar Film Products. He has a B.S. in chemical engineering from the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.

Hedden attended Clay City Jr./Sr. High School. His mother is a resident of Clay City.
