Mickey Nadine Snider, 78, Brazil, died Feb. 13, 2009, at 1:30 p.m., at Danville Regional Rehabilitation, Danville, Ind.
He was born Nov. 30, 1930, in Putnam County, the daughter of Halbert Cleon Snider and Grace E. Stewart Snider.
He served in the United States Army during the Korean War.
He married Carolyn M. Harney.
He was employed at Rocky Fork Lake as a caretaker.
He was preceded in death by brothers Wayne and Bob Snider, sisters Irene Mosteller and Vivian Snider and grandchild Shea Collins.
Survivors include his wife Carolyn Snider, Brazil, daughters Vickey Collins, Mechanicsville, Va., and Debbie Neese, Greencastle, brothers Bernard Snider, Greencastle, Jim Snider, Bowling Green, Richard Snider, Greencastle, Billy Snider, Cloverdale, H.C. Snider Jr., Greencastle, and Rex Snider, Reelsville, sister Betty Jo Harney, Greencastle, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services will take place Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2009, at 11 a.m., at Barnes and Rice Funeral Home, 111 E. High St., Rockville, with Pastor J. Daeschner officiating. Burial will be at Martin Cemetery, Ferndale, Ind., with military graveside services conducted by the Parke County Veterans.
Visitation will take place Monday, Feb. 16, 2009, from 4-8 p.m., at the funeral home.
