MR. AND MRS. STUART MOORE

Stuart and Bessie Moore, Center Point, will be celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary with an open house, hosted by their children on Sunday, Feb. 22 from 2-4 p.m. at the Center Point United Methodist Family Life Center.

The Moore's were married on Jan. 16, 1949 in Bedford.

Stuart is a retired business owner, a former member of the Center Point Town Board and past President. He was a member of the Center Point Volunteer Fire Department and served as Fire Chief for 20 years. He will also be celebrating his 80th birthday during the open house.

Bessie is the former Miss McArthur, and is a retired business owner and bookkeeper.

They are both members of the First Presbyterian Church in Brazil, and the Sycamore Model A Club in Terre Haute.

They have three children, Anne Slavens, Center Point, Nancy Wiesman and husband David, Greenwood, John Moore and wife Terri, Center Point; and five grandchildren.
