Donald L. Naylor, 83, Rochester, Ind., formerly of Brazil, died at 3:21 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2009, in Rochester, Ind.
He was born Oct. 30, 1925, in Indianapolis, as the son of Earl William and Irene Adams Naylor. Following graduation from high school he joined the U.S. Air Corp and served during World War II until his Honorable Discharge. He had been employed as a salesman selling hydraulic systems and parts. He retired from Central Hospital of Indianapolis where he worked as a maintenance electrician supervisor. He married Sandy Soots who preceded him in death in October 2001.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Sandy.
He is survived by one sister, Carolyn Donaldson, Rochester, Ind., one son Thomas Naylor, Indianapolis, two stepsons, Frank Teeter, Danville, Ind., and William Teeter, one step-daughter, Crystal Doyle, one sister-in-law Helen Patton, Indianapolis, and several nieces and nephews.
