Mary Elizabeth Boyce, 75, Greenwood, Ind., formerly of Brazil, died at 1:50 a.m., Monday, Feb. 16, 2009, in Greenwood.
She was born Feb. 17, 1933, in Brazil, as the daughter of Ray and Ora Raab Marks. She graduated from Brazil High School and Ball State University. She was a homemaker who had also worked at WBOW Radio Station, Terre Haute. She enjoyed nature, history, reading and needlework.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ray Henry Boyce on June 11, 2006, one brother, Robert Marks, and one niece, Melanie Thoms.
She is survived by one daughter, Leslie Cronk and husband Douglas, Greenwood, nephews, Walter Marks and wife Mary, Greendale, Wis., and Gunther Thoms, Brookfield, Wis., nieces, Jeanne Moschenrose, Hannibal, Mo, Eva Roach and husband John, Brazil, and Kathy Cotton and husband Larry, Brazil, sisters-in-law, Imogene Harris and husband Wayne and Kathryn Trout, all of Brazil, and nine great nieces and nephews.
At the request of the deceased, Moore Funeral Home was chosen to provide cremation services. A memorial service will be conducted 1 p.m., Sunday, March 1, at Moore Funeral Home.
