She loves to sew, and not only outfits dolls with her sewn garments, but herself in self sewn work uniforms. She even sews for residents when needed.
Alta loves Karaoke. She is not a singer, but "finds it a hoot" to listen to others croon.
Her late husband, Don, frequented Brazil's Hardees. After his death, Alta took over the routine of visiting with friends at Hardee's.
Alta said she was very surprised to receive the Shing Star of the Year Award. It was no surprise to us. She is a dedicated employee that takes pride in her great homestyle meals, served up with a smile.
