STAUNTON FIRST CHRISTIAN CHURCH

Sunday School begins at 9:30 a.m., with worship service following at 10:30 a.m. Doug Parkey is the minister. If you need transportation to morning worship service, please phone the church office at 446-3211. The bus is wheelchair equipped.

Children's Church and Wee Worship meet at 10:30 a.m., in the Educational building.

Evening service and Youth Groups meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday evening Bible Study and Prayer Group meets at 7 p.m.

Jennifer Buell, President of Wabash Valley Right to Life, will be speaking on Saturday, March 7, at 3 p.m., at Staunton Christian Church. She will be sharing information and ideas on how to educate the public about the issue of abortion and saving babies.

Anyone interested is welcome to attend and become a part of this newly formed pro-life group, or take the information received back to another church or organization We can be the voice for the silent babies that cannot speak for themselves.

STAUNTON UNITED METHODIST CHURCH

Sunday School is at 9:30 a.m. Church service begins at 10:30 a.m. David Brown is our Pastor and his wife Elaine brings the Children's Message. Glenna Simons is the pianist.

Happy birthday to Jill Nussel on March 3.

Remember that the Community Food Pantry is open in the church's basement on the last Wednesday afternoon of each month, from 3-5 p.m. The next Food Pantry day will be March 25.

Anyone in the Staunton area in need of help is welcome. We truly appreciate the support of Staunton Christian Church and Staunton Elementary School, as well as other churches, civic organizations, and individuals, in helping to make this needed outreach a success.

Please remember to keep praying for everyone who is battling illness, as well as all the brave men and women of our military and their families. Also remember in prayer all the folks in nursing homes and hospitals, and those who have lost loved ones. Go out of your way to be kind to someone, and pray for everyone.
