Sunday School begins at 9:30 a.m., with worship service following at 10:30 a.m. Doug Parkey is the minister.

If you need transportation to morning worship service, please phone the church office at 446-3211. The bus is wheel-chair equipped.

Children's Church and Wee Worship meet at 10:30 a.m., in the Educational Building. Sunday evening service and Youth Groups meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday evening Bible Study and Prayer Group meets at 7 p.m.

The Elders will meet at 6 p.m. on Monday, March 9, followed by the regular meeting of the church board at 7 p.m.

The Christian Fellowship Club will meet for lunch at Pizza Hut on Wednesday, March 11, at 11:30 a.m.

Jennifer Buell, President of Wabash Valley Right to Life, will be speaking on Saturday, March 7, at 3 p.m., at Staunton Christian Church. She will be sharing information and ideas on how to educate the public about the issue of abortion and saving babies. Anyone interested is welcome to attend and become a part of this newly formed pro-life group, or take the information received back to another church or organization We can be the voice for the silent babies that cannot speak for themselves.

Congratulations to Jason and Kara James on the birth of baby daughter, Kailee Nicole, on Feb. 25.

We extend our Christian sympathy to Delbert snd Rochelle McQueen on the death of Delbert's brother Robert "Mic" McQueen.


We have been planning our special services for Holy Week, and the schedule is as follows: Maundy Thursday service at 7:30 p.m., on April 9. Sunrise Service at 7:30 a.m., on Easter morning April 12, followed by breakfast at 8:30 a.m., with church service beginning at 10 a.m.

Sunday School is at 9:30 a.m. Church service begins at 10:30 a.m. David Brown is our Pastor and his wife Elaine brings the Children's Message. Glenna Simons is the pianist.

Happy birthday to Richard Nussel on March 13.

This year's schedule for Holy Week begins with Maundy Thursday, April 9, at 7:30 p.m. On Easter morning, April 12, Sunrise Service will be at 7:30 a.m., followed by breakfast at 8:30 a.m., and church service at the special time of 10 a.m.

Remember that the Community Food Pantry is open in the church's basement on the last Wednesday afternoon of each month, March 25, from 3-5 p.m.

Anyone in the Staunton area in need of help is welcome. We truly appreciate the support of Staunton Christian Church and Staunton Elementary School, as well as other churches, civic organizations, and individuals, in helping to make this needed outreach a success.

Please remember to keep praying for everyone who is battling illness, as well as all the brave men and women of our military and their families. Also remember in prayer all the folks in nursing homes and hospitals, and those who have lost loved ones. Go out of your way to be kind to someone, and pray for everyone.
