Wabash Valley Gardener's Association Spring Seminar

The Wabash Valley Master Gardener's Association Inc., Terre Haute recently announced it will conduct its fourth annual spring seminar Saturday March 28 at Union Christian Church Family Life Center, 5350 E. Hulman Dr., Terre Haute.

Unions Christian Church is located at the corner of State Road 46 and Hulman Street, one mile north of Interstate-70.

This year's subjects include:

* Attracting blue birds to your back yard by Loren Hughes, East Central Illinois Blue Bird Society,

* Indiana's Roadside Heritage Program by Bill Fielding, Landscape Division of INDOT,

* Cooking with Herbs by Sue Watson and Chef Rondal Love,

* Going Green in your back yard Janet Harmon, of the Clay, Owen, Vigo Solid Waste District, and

* Indiana's Bee Keeping Industry by Aaron Warner, Biology Department Terre Haute South Vigo High School.

Registration will begin at 8 a.m., a continental breakfast and lunch will be served. This event has been approved for five hours of continuing education for master gardeners. The cost for this year's seminar is $30 per person and includes both breakfast and lunch.
