Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels has had a busy itinerary in the past couple of days.
And one of the many stops he's making statewide includes paying a visit to Clay County Friday.
Daniels will join executives from KIHM Metal Technologies for an economic development announcement Friday, at 10 a.m., at 3021 E. State Road 42.
Prior to his visit to the county, Daniels will be in Linton Friday morning.
After the Brazil visit, he will then join the Greencastle Kiwanis Club for an update on his legislative initiatives at the Walden Inn and Conference Center (Room B), 2 W. Seminary St., Greencastle, scheduled to begin at noon.
Daniels last visit to Clay County came right before the 2008 General Election, when he stopped at the Glory Days Restaurant in Clay City while on the campaign trail.
Daniels was elected the state's 49th Governor in 2005 and won a second term in November 2008.
Prior to becoming Governor of Indiana, he was the Director of the Office of Management and Budget under President George W. Bush. He has also worked for Eli Lilly and Company.
