Student served as page for Senator Richard Bray

Tuesday, March 31, 2009

Senator Bray and Zene Couson
Zene served as page for Sen. Richard Bray, Martinsville on March 17, 2009. Pages spend one day at the State House assisting senators and Senate staff members with a variety of legislative duties and learning about the structure of Indiana's government.

According to the Senator, visiting the State Capitol and serving as a page for the General Assembly provides young people, who are in the sixth grade or above, the opportunity to observe and participate in the legislative process.

Zene, 12 years old, is the son of Mike and Stacy Colson, Brazil. He is in sixth grade at North Clay Middle School.

Congratualtions to this young man and his mother and father. They must be proud.

And thanks to the BRAZIL TIMES for putting his parents name's in the paper.
