STAUNTON FIRST CHRISTIAN CHURCH

Sunday School starts at 9:30 a.m., with worship service following at 10:30 a.m. Doug Parkey is the minister. If you need transportation to morning worship service, please phone the church office at 446-3211; the bus is wheel-chair equipped.

Children's Church and Wee Worship meet at 10:30 a.m. in the Educational Building. Sunday evening worship and youth groups meet at 6 p.m.

Wednesday Evening Bible Study and Prayer Group meets at 7 p.m.

The Easter Drama will be presented on Good Friday, April 10, at 7 p.m.

Easter Sunrise Service will be at 7 a.m. on April 23. Following the service, breakfast will be served in the Educational Building.

There will be no Sunday School, and the Easter Drama will be presented at 10:30 a.m.

STAUNTON UNITED METHODIST CHURCH

Sunday School is at 9:30 a.m. Church service begins at 10:30 a.m. David Brown is our Pastor and his wife Elaine brings the Children's Message. Glenna Simons is the pianist.

This year's schedule for Holy Week begins with Maundy Thursday service at 7:30 p.m. on April 9. On Easter morning, April 12, Sunrise Service will be at 7:30 a.m., followed by breakfast at 8:30 a.m., and church service at the special time of 10 a.m.

Remember that the Community Food Pantry is open in the church's basement on the last Wednesday afternoon of each month, from 3-5 p.m. The next Food Pantry day will be April 29. Anyone in the Staunton area in need of help is welcome.

Please remember to keep praying for everyone who is battling illness, as well as all the brave men and women of our military and their families. Also remember in prayer all the folks in nursing homes and hospitals, and those who have lost loved ones.

Go out of your way to be kind to someone, and pray for everyone.
