Ruby P. Wilson, 74, Brazil, died at 4:30 p.m., April 13, 2009, at Cloverleaf Nursing Home, Knightsville, following a brief illness.

She was born in Brazil, Dec. 29, 1934, to Ernest K. and Lena Felty. Mrs. Wilson graduated from Brazil High School with the class of 1954. Following high school she worked at the candy counter for G.C. Murphy's. She also worked for Pillsbury in Seelyville, K-Mart in Terre Haute, for Clay County School Corporation and most recently Brazil Cable Company and Dairy Queen. She married Arthur V. Wilson Feb. 17, 1956. She loved to spend time with and care for her family. In her free time she enjoyed journaling and traveling.

She was preceded in death by her parents Ernest and Lena Felty, husband Arthur V. Wilson, and three brothers Ernie Felty, Delbert Felty and Earl Felty.

Survivors include two daughters Rita J. Stough and husband John, Brazil, Nancy K. Snow and husband Marvin, Peru, Ind., and Art Wilson and wife Ruthie, Brazil, grandchildren Neil Stough, Jona Dye, Ryan Stough, Marla Parson, Joshua Snow, Leanne Lunsford, Tyler Wilson and Laci McNeil, great-grandchildren Neily, Zoe', Isabelle, Abram, Cale, Madison, Nathan, David, Elijah, Jacob, Abigail, Anna, Jehu, Chloe Mae, Zion, close friends Francis and Irene, as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Visitation will be at Lawson-Miller Chapel Thursday, from noon until 2 p.m. Graveside services will be at Bee Ridge Cemetery Thursday, April 16, 2009, at 2:30 p.m., with Pastor Howard Hughes officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the LEAAP Center.
