Relay Team Notice
Any Relay For Life team that needs pictures taken for a special publication, which will appear in The Brazil Times is urged to call The Times' office at 812-446-2216, Monday-Friday, from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

Entry forms online
An entry form for this year's VFW Loyalty Day Parade is now available online. Visit www.thebraziltimes.com and click on 2009 Loyalty Day Parade Entry Form label under the "Forms" header on the left side of the page to enter and for more information about the event, which will take place Saturday, May 9.
The Clay County Retired Teachers Association has scheduled a pitch-in dinner for today at 6:30 p.m.
The event will take place at the YMCA in Brazil.
Drinks and tableware will be provided. Those interested in attending are asked to bring a covered dish. There will be door prizes and several raffle items.
Jana Sinders of Outback Gardening, Clay City, will be the guest speaker.
In addition, Indiana Retired Teachers Association Executive Director Andy Thomas will be available for questions regarding the organization.
The Vigo County Conservation Club will be hosting an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast from 7-10 a.m., Saturday, at the club, 10382 Grotto Rd., Terre Haute.
Cost for the breakfast, which will also have scrambled eggs, sausage and gravy, is $5 for adults and $2 for children.

Crop for a Cure
"Crop for a Cure," a scrap booking event, will be hosted by Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology Sports and Recreation Center, 5500 Wabash Avenue, Terre Haute, from 9 a.m.-7 p.m., Saturday.
The cost is $25, and funds raised will benefit the Susan G. Komen For a Cure Wabash Valley. Lunch and supper, along with snacks and beverages, will be provided along with a yard sale table.
There will also be door prizes and vendors available.

The Wabash Valley Genealogy Society (WVGS) will present speaker Jan Aikman Dickson Saturday, in the Vigo County Public Library.
The event is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. and conclude at 2 p.m.
Zoeller to speak
Indiana Attorney General Greg Zoeller will be the keynote speaker at this year's Clay County Lincoln Day Dinner.
The event will take place Saturday, at the Center Point United Methodist Church. The dinner is open to the public and will begin at 6 p.m. Tickets are $25 and may be purchased at the door. Reservations may be made by calling 448-8081.
The Clay County Humane Shelter will conduct a Jonah Fish Fry Saturday, April 18, from 4-7 p.m., at the Kennedy Crossing Bingo Hall.
Cost will be $8 for adults and $4 for children 12-under.
Hot dogs will also be served.

Homeward Bound Walk
Wabash Valley Social Service agencies will participate in the first Homeward Bound Walk at Fairbanks Park in Terre Haute Sunday.
All proceeds from the event will be used to provide housing and supportive services for the Wabash Valley homeless.
