TERRE HAUTE -- The Wabash Valley Herb Society's "Spring Thyme Plant and Herb Faire," will take place from 9 a.m.-4 p.m., Saturday, May 9.
The faire will take place rain or shine at Fairbanks Park, located on the bank of the Wabash River.
Admission is free.
There will be a wide variety of plants for sale again this year. These will include the more common herbs, as well as other herbs, annuals and perennials.
More than 133 booths will be filled with herbal crafts, pottery, metal and wood crafts, cookbooks, herb books, spice blends, herbal vinegars, local honey and an information booth. Some booths will offer vegetable plants, vines, trees, water garden plants, candles, stepping stones, soaps, antiques and more.
The Herb Society also has a new cookbook this year available and lots of food will be available for purchase.
