Mary Schepper hosted a family Easter dinner and Easter egg hunt last Sunday. Her guests were Wilmadean Baker; Jane and Dallas Rose; Leslie, Kelsey, and Kalen Schane; Libby, Logan, and Kaiden Receveur; Anita and Mark Ave; and Lee, Jennie, Madison, Jake, and McKenzie Rose.
STAUNTON FIRST CHRISTIAN CHURCH
Sunday School begins at 9:30 a.m., with worship service following at 10:30 a.m. Doug will be absent this Sunday, and Mark Parkey will bring the morning message. There will be no evening service. If you need transportation to morning worship service, please phone the church office at 446-3211; the bus is wheel- chair equipped.
Children's Church and Wee Worship are at 10:30 in the Educational Building.
There will be no more Wednesday Evening Bible Study and Prayer Group meetings until the end of May. A new Small-Groups Study will begin the week of April 27. The study is entitled "Prayer as a Second Language." Several small groups will be meeting in people's homes. If you would like to be a part of this study and have not signed up yet, please do so on Sunday morning.
If you want to ride the church bus to Golden Corral for lunch on Monday April 20, please meet at the church by 11 a.m.
We extend congratulations and hearfelt best wishes to Nic and Julie Elliot who will begin their ministry with the Stateline Christian Church on Sunday April 19.
Our deepest appreciation goes out to all those who took part in the Easter Drama. It was beautifully presented and was an inspiration to all who were in attendance. Thanks to all of you for your hard work.

Remember that the Community Food Pantry is open in the church's basement on the last Wednesday afternoon of each month, from 3-5 p.m.
The next Food Pantry day will be Wednesday April 29. Anyone in the Staunton area in need of help is welcome. We truly appreciate the support of Staunton Christian Church and Staunton Elementary School, as well as other churches, civic organizations, and individuals, in helping to make this needed outreach a success.
Please remember to keep praying for everyone who is battling illness, as well as all the brave men and women of our military and their families. Also remember in prayer all the folks in nursing homes and hospitals, and those who have lost loved ones.
Go out of your way to be kind to someone, and pray for everyone.
