Helen Lou Reddie Wishon

Helen Lou Reddie Wishon, 88, died peacefully April 16, 2009, in her Arlington Heights, Ill., home.

Born and raised in Brazil, Ind., she was the daughter of Beulah and Charles Reddie.

She was a 1938 graduate of Brazil High School.

She attended Indiana State University.

She was employed for a number of years as a secretary to the General Manager of the Dayton Biltmore, Dayton, Ohio.

After marrying Robert Wishon in 1952, she lived in many cities until Mr. Wishon came to the Chicago area with Hilton Hotels.

Helen then worked for Multigraphics in Mt. Prospect, Ill., retiring in 1984.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert, her parents and her brother Frank Reddie.

She is survived by cousins Mary Ellen Tozer, Marcia Tozer, Linda Smiley, Brazil, Harriet Reddie, and many Arlington Heights, Ill., friends.

She was an active member of Southminster Presbyterian Church, 916 E. Central Road, Arlington Heights, Ill.

There will be a gathering at Cottage Hill Cemetery, Brazil, Friday, April 24, 2009, at 12:30 p.m., until time of graveside services at 1 p.m.

Arrangements are being handled by Meadows Funeral Home, Rolling Meadows, Ill.
