City flushing fire hydrants next week

The Brazil City Fire Department will be flushing fire hydrants next week.

Residents may experience low water pressure.

Some water may become discolored and residents should use caution when washing light colored clothing.

The following is a proposed scheduled and all scheduled days are subject to change:

* Monday, Casey's east to Harrison and Midland streets,

* Tuesday, Alabama and Hendrix streets to Meridian Street and Oxide Chemical,

* Wednesday, Colfax and Chestnut streets to Chicago Avenue and Knight Street,

* Thursday, April 30, Depot and Knight streets to Clay County Justice Center,

* Friday, May 1, Murphy Avenue south of United State 40 to South Gate Apartments, and

* Saturday, May 2, National Avenue and McGuire Street to National and Wheeler Street.
