David B. Koile, 79, Stanford, Ky., died Monday, April 27, 2009, at Ephraim McDowell Ft. Logan Hospital in Stanford.
He was born Wednesday, June 26, 1929, in North Manchester, Ind., to the late William David and Edith L. Robertson Koile. David was a retired junior high school teacher for the Brazil School System, a United States Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict and Naval Reservist for 21 years, member of the Retired Teachers Association of Indiana, member of the Veteran Motor Club of American, a former hard rock miner in New Mexico and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Port Charlotte, Fla.
He will be remembered for his love for car shows and old Model T cars, recently restoring an old Model T from the frame up.
He is preceded in death by his parents William David and Edith Koile, his wife Rada Koile, two sons Michael and Kevin Koile and sister Sonia Sue Knox.
He is survived by his daughter Rebecca Lee Koile, Dale, Texas, two brothers, Larry Koile and his wife Louise, Cocoa, Fla., and Denny Koile and his wife Star, of Tennessee, granddaughter Rada Mia Koile, and a companion Catherine Stewart, Stanford, Ky.
