INDIANAPOLIS -- Ivy Tech Community College will celebrate 14 graduation ceremonies this month.
The school will award an estimated 8,500 associate degrees and certificates. This is in addition to the 21,835 certifications it has provided in the past year as the community college has now provided more than 30,000 credentials that have currency in today's workforce.
Ivy Tech will conduct a ceremony at 7 p.m., May 7, at Indiana State University's Hulman Center. Terre Haute Mayor Duke Bennett will be the featured speaker.
The school will conduct ceremonies at other locations as well, including South Bend, Franklin, Evansville, Gary, Richmond, Indianapolis, West Lafayette, Kokomo, Muncie, Fort Wayne, Bloomington, Hanover and New Albany.
Ivy Tech Community College is the state's largest public post-secondary institution and the nation's largest singly-accredited statewide community college system with more than 120,000 students enrolled annually.
The school has campuses throughout the state.
