Robert "Bob" W. Rose, 67, Brazil, passed away at 4:58 a.m., May 9, 2009, at St. Vincent Clay Hospital, following a brief illness.

He was born April 26, 1942, to Lester and Sarah (Daniels) Rose.

Mr. Rose graduated from Brazil High School with the class of 1960.

Following high school, he joined the United States Army, being honorably discharged in 1963, as a Specialist First Class.

On June 5, 1965, he married Jane White.

When he returned from the military, he worked for Arktex for a short time before hiring on to Allison's Transmission in Indianapolis, retiring in 1996.

After retirement, he began working for the Brazil Wal-Mart as a stockman.

In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and spending time outdoors as well as spending time with friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his parents Lester and Sarah Rose, and brother Gary Rose, who passed away while serving in Vietnam.

Survivors include his wife Jane, daughter Teresa Jazvic and husband Josip, Terre Haute, sons Kevin Rose, Frankfort, Ind., and Scott Rose, Colorado Springs, Colo., grandchildren Christina Rose, Cole Rose, Shelby Rose and Toni Jazvic, as well as several extended family members.

At his request, cremation will be scheduled.
