Annabelle Pierce Yockey Miller, 86, Brazil, passed away at St. Vincent Clay Hospital, May 11, 2009, at 8:19 a.m., following an extended illness.

She was born April 13, 1923, in Clay County, to Ray and Rosemary (Pierce) Hibbs.

She attended Bee Ridge School.

Following school, she worked at Wadleys and Davis Gardens in Terre Haute. She also spent much of her time caring for her family.

She loved dancing and once had an opportunity to dance with Bing Crosby. She also enjoyed traveling and spending time with friends, family and her beloved Boston Terriers.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son John Armstrong, husband Dale Yockey Sr., close friends Lillian White and Shawna Yockey.

Survivors include her husband Bill Miller, sons Delbert Yockey and wife Jane Diane, Jimmie Yockey and Dale Yockey Jr., grandchildren Kris Ross and wife Leah, and Chris Yockey, great-grandchildren Kelsey, Christopher, Makayla, Tommy Ray, Arianna and Candice, daughter-in-law Debbie Pearson, and close friends of the family Melissa and Lee.

Services will be at French Funeral Home, Friday, May 15, 2009, at 4 p.m., with Pastors Don Downey and Fred Bault officiating. Burial will follow at Bee Ridge Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the funeral home Friday, from 3 p.m. until time of services.
