The Northview 'C' baseball team outslugged Bloomington South on Tuesday evening to remain perfect this week and move to 7-2 this season.
The Knights crossed the plate 19 times in a 19-14 win over the Panthers with Tanner Glenn knocking in five runs during a four-hit evening.
Glenn had a pair of singles, a double and a triple in the game. Not to be outdone, Curtis Grove also had four hits, with three singles, a double and three RBI. Jordan Girton drove home four runs in the win with a pair of doubles. Bryant Pestoff also had two doubles and Brock Wheeler added two hits.
On the mound, Coleman Craig pitched four innings, allowing three hits and striking out five. Walks were a big source of Bloomington South's offense as Craig walked four and Jordan Girton gave up five free passes in two innings of work. Cole Watts worked an inning, struck out twice and walked one.
On Monday night, the Knights scored a pair of runs in the top of the seventh inning to take a 6-4 win over Edgewood.
Scott Kirk went four and two-thirds innings and didn't allow an earned run while striking out two and walking one. Wheeler went two and a third innings and struck out five.
Devin Harvey had two singles and Jordan Girton had a single and a two-run homerun. Craig added a single and hit the go-ahead two-run double in the seventh inning. Wheeler and Pestoff each had a double.
The Knights are back in action on Friday night with a trip to Terre Haute North.
