The Clay Community School Board will conduct a regular session school board meeting Thursday, at 7:30 p.m., in the media center at North Clay Middle School.
The following is a list of items included on the agenda:
* Board meetings at elementary schools,
* The climate/culture survey, conducted by Steve Gruenert, a professor at Indiana State University, will present the findings,
* The design development packages for East Side Elementary, Meridian Elementary, Staunton Elementary and Jackson Township Elementary will be presented, and
* Representatives from the construction team will be present to inform the board on the bids for the security work at Northview High School, North Clay Middle School and Clay City Jr./Sr. High School.
Also included in the agenda is the possible donation to the Clay County Sheriff's Department K-9 Unit and the Brazil City Police Department K-9 Unit, to help pay for the upkeep of the K-9 officers and information will also be handed out and a possible date set for a school board retreat which would be instructed by Mike Adamson, a member of the Indiana School Boards Association. The debt on Northview High School and Clay City Jr./Sr. High School has been paid and Bert Geswein, a representative of the holding corporation that was established when the work on the buildings was commissioned, will be presenting the deed to the board.
Comments will be taken from patrons in attendance and CCSC Supt. Dan Schroeder will deliver a report.
