Eva Mae Silver Brassard Selby, 84, Brazil, died May 17, 2009, at St. Vincent Clay Hospital.
She was born May 7, 1925, in Vincennes, to Paul and Thelma Silvers.
She worked for more than 10 years at the tape plant at CBS in Terre Haute.
She attended the Community Missionary Church. In her later years, she enjoyed being a homemaker, watching her "stories," and spending time with family.
Survivors include her children Larry and Terrie Brassard, Naguabo, Puerto Rico, Jim and Rosie Brassaard, Sacramento, Calif., Elaine and Bill Davis, Thawville, Ill., Rita Lindley, Watseka, Ill., Linda Baker, Sheldon, Ill., Mary and Kevin Jones, Lakewood, Colo., Carol and Bud Wagner, Pam and Tom Fulk, Kathy Burton and Karen Burton, all of Brazil, and Debbie Norman, Gibson City, Ill., many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Thomas Edward Silvers, and son Richard Brassard, Milford, Ill.
Cremation was chosen with ashes to be buried at a later date with family services.
French Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.
