Northview's 'C' baseball team caps regular season with lopsided win

The Northview 'C' baseball team ended the season with a blowout win on Wednesday, defeating visiting Terre Haute North, 16-0.

Coleman Craig got the pitching win, allowing just two hits in five innings, walked two and struck out three.

Jordan Girton had a big night at the plate with a single, home run, a triple and drove home three runs. Bryant Pestoff had four RBI with a double and a single and both Scott Kirk and Tanner Glenn had two singles. Cole Watts and Dylan Dyar each had a single.

The Knights end the season with a 10-2 overall record.



Northview's 'C' baseball team defeated Edgewood, 6-3 on Tuesday night.

The Knights scored four runs in the first inning and made them standup against the Mustangs as Brock Wheeler got the win on the mound.

Wheeler allowed five hits while striking out six and allowing three runs over six innings before Coleman Craig finished out the game by striking out the side.

Devin Harvey had a double and a single with two RBI and both Scott Kirk and Craig had two base hits apiece. Tanner Glenn also added a hit in the victory.
