ROCKVILLE -- MainStreet Rockville will offer its Cruise In-Street Dance combined again this year with the Motorcycle, Scooter and Bike Show, June 6.
The event will take place from 6-10 p.m., on the courthouse square in Rockville. A rain date has been set for Saturday, June 13.
Registration will begin at 4 p.m., with a $5 entry fee for each entry.
Dancing will begin at 6 p.m., with music provided by Chameleon Entertainment, with a People's Choice awards and a 50/50 drawing taking place at 9 p.m.
This is the 18th year for the Cruise In and Street Dance, which ahs offered hours of entertainment. Cars will enter from the southeast corner of the square at the corner of High and Jefferson streets.
Motorcycles, Scooters and Bikes will enter at the same spot and will be staged on the east side of Market Street, adjacent to the courthouse.
Dash Plaques will be provided to the first 150 cars to enter the Cruise In.
People's Choice awards will be given to the vehicle and motorcycle, scooter and bike garnering the most votes from participants.
Some food vendors will be on hand for those in attendance and restaurants on the square will be open.
This is the 12th year for the Motorcycle, Scooter and Bike Show, and some entries in the motorcycle class previously were Gold Wing, Harley Davidson, Indian, Suzuki, MBW and Victory. Bikes previously entered included Schwin, Western Flyer and John Deere and scooters from the past included Cushman, Doodle Bug, All State, Salisbury and Agrilla.
