Here's your weekly reminder that the Posey Township Volunteer Fire Department Jonah Fish Fry is next Saturday June 6, from 3-8 p.m., at Staunton Elementary School. Be sure to remember to support this wonderful event.

STAUNTON FIRST CHRISTIAN CHURCH

Sunday School begins at 9:30 a.m., with worship service following at 10:30 a.m. Doug Parkey is the minister.

If you need transportation to morning worship service, please phone the church office at 446-3211; the bus is wheel-chair equipped.

Children's Church and Wee Worship begin at 10:30 a.m., in the Educational Building.

Evening service and youth groups meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday evening Bible Study and Prayer Group meets at 7 p.m.

We extend our Christian sympathy to Alan and Donna Buell in the death of Donna's mother, Mrs. Harris.

STAUNTON UNITED METHODIST CHURCH

Sunday School is at 9:30 a.m. with Church Service following at 10:30 a.m. David Brown is the Pastor, and his wife Elaine presents the Children's Message. Glenna Simons is the pianist.

Remember that the Community Food Pantry is open the the church's basement on the last Wednesday afternoon of each month, from 3-5 p.m. The next Food Pantry day will be June 24. Anyone in the Staunton area in need of help is welcome.

We truly appreciate the support of Staunton First Christian Church and Staunton Elementary School, as well as other churches, civic organizations, and individuals in helping to make this needed outreach a success.

Please keep praying for everyone who is battling illness, as well as all the brave men and women of our military and their families.

Also remember in prayer all the folks in nursing homes and hospitals, and those who have lost loved ones. Go out of your way to be kind to someone, and pray for everyone.
