She had been a resident there for several years.
She was born Nov. 4, 1921, in Sullivan, the daughter of Jesse Mahurin and Esther Parker Mahurin.
During her working years, she found employment at A & P and CBS in Terre haute and Windbreaker Plant in Brazil.
Doris enjoyed traveling, oil painting and sewing and was known to be a very good cook.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Thomas F. Wetnight on Feb. 5, 1977, son Terry Wetnight, sister Mildred Blueher and brothers Ernest Mahurin and Paul Mahurin.
Survivors include sons Thomas Wetnight and wife Charlene, Steve Wetnight and wife Bonnie, and Chuck Wetnight and wife Dianna, all of Brazil, grandchildren Eric Wetnight, Tracy Childress, Stephanie Fagg, Missy Hickey, Tommy A. Wetnight, Pam Wetnight, Amy Taylor and Brian Wetnight, 10 great-grandchildren, sister Patty Reeder, Brazil, formerly of Rockville, and other extended family.
Services will take place at 2 p.m., Sunday, at French Funeral Home, with Pastor Steve Brattain officiating.
Burial will follow at Summit Lawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon-2 p.m., Sunday.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to the Alzheimer's Association. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
