The Posey Township Volunteer Fire Department Jonah Fish Fry is today, Saturday, June 6, from 3-8 p.m., at Staunton Elementary School.

STAUNTON FIRST CHRISTIAN CHURCH
Sunday School begins at 9:30 a.m., with worship services following at 10:30. Doug Parkey is the minister.
If you need transportation to morning worship service, please phone the church office at 446-3211. The bus is wheelchair equipped.
Children's Church and Wee Worship meet at 10:30 a.m., in the Educational Building.
Evening service and youth groups meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday evening Bible Study and Prayer Group meets at 7 p.m.
The elders will meet at 6 p.m., Monday, followed by the regular meeting of the church board at 7 p.m.
The Christian Fellowship Club will meet for lunch at Pizza Hut Wednesday, at 11:30 a.m.
Our annual congregational meeting will take place following morning worship service Sunday, June 28.

STAUNTON UNITED METHODIST CHURCH
Our Vacation Bible School will be June 15-19, from 6-8 p.m., each evening. A week of fun and valuable Christian lessons are planned. All children of the community are welcome to attend.
Sunday School is at 9:30 a.m., with Church Service following at 10:30 a.m. David Brown is the Pastor, and his wife Elaine presents the Children's message. Glenna Simons is the pianist.
Remember that the Community Food Pantry is open to the church's basement on the last Wednesday afternoon of each month, from 3-5 p.m. The next Food Pantry day will be Wednesday, June 24. Anyone in the Staunton area in need of help is welcome.
We truly appreciate the support of Staunton First Christian Church and Staunton Elementary School, as well as other churches, civic organizations and individuals in helping to make this needed outreach a success.
Please keep praying for everyone who is battling illness, as well as all the brave men and women of our military and their families. Also remember in prayer all the folks in nursing homes and hospitals and those who have lost loved ones. Go out of your way to be kind to someone and pray for everyone.
