Brazil CPC sponsoring Baby Photo Contest during 4-H fair

Tuesday, June 16, 2009

The Crisis Pregnancy Center of Brazil (CPC) is once again sponsoring the annual Baby Photo Contest fundraiser during the 2009 Clay County 4-H Fair, July 17-24.

Prizes, donated by local merchants, include a $50 savings bond for the winner and various other prizes for the winner and the runners-up.

Entries are currently being accepted and must be post-marked no later than midnight, July 15, 2009.

To participate, babies must have been born on or after Jan. 1, 2008, and have not been a winner in a previous contest. The photo may be a maximum of 5X7, and must have the baby's name and date of birth on the back along with the parent's name, address and phone number. All photos will be returned by mail after the contest.

Children of CPC volunteers, staff, or board members are not eligible. A $2 entry fee must accompany the entry form and photo.

Voting will take place at the CPC Booth in the Amax building during the 4-H Fair and will begin at 5 p.m., Saturday, July 18, and end at 9 p.m., Thursday, July 23, 2009.

Votes will be represented through donations, and babies with the most money donated will win the prizes as distributed by the CPC. All donations benefit the CPC of the Wabash Valley.

Entry forms are available at the Crisis Pregnancy Center of Brazil, 20 N. Meridian St., Brazil, Monday through Thursday, noon-5 p.m. Entry forms will also appear in The Brazil Times and The Clay City News.

Questions about the contest should be directed to Ann Coker at the Crisis Pregnancy Center at 448-3948.
