Troy Farris claimed the Brazil Open championship on Sunday.
The overall and amateur champion of the Riddell National Bank Brazil Open was a familiar one as Troy Farris shot rounds of 63 and 65 to claim his fifth consecutive overall championship.

Farris' score of 14-under-par 128 was nine shots better than Doug McDonald and Brandon Goecker's score of 137. Farris had 14 birdies over the two rounds and didn't have a bogey.

Ted Kaperak, who won the first amateur Open title, took the Senior Division championship with a 136 and Eric Andrews scored the Pro Division win with a 135. Andrews won by four strokes over Country Club of Terre Haute assistant, Mike Nakai.

The super senior title went to Gary Dockins with a 141, edging out former winner Benny Kiburis by one stroke.

Alec Snyder shot a 142 to win the amateur first flight with Evan Miller taking the second flight and former Clay City standout athlete, Elliott Booe, shooting a 157 to win the third flight.

Tasha Embry shot a 169 to win the women's title and Ashley Marsh claimed the girls' title.

Cam Llewellyn was the youngest winner of the day, taking the 10-under title with a 153. In the 13-under Division, Sam Pollock won in a playoff against Ryan Baker after each carded a 148 in regulation.

Other junior winners were Will Pollock, Jarrod Short and Alec Davis.

The Optimist Club Junior Tourney will be played at Forest Park Golf Course on July 13 and costs $20, which includes a great lunch, goody bag, all day snacks, pizza and pool party.
