In honor

Thursday, July 2, 2009

Approximately 90 children made flags and posters honoring America for the Fourth of July. Under the direction of camp coordinator Pam Fischer, the children made flags and posters to celebrate the holiday. Children range in age from pre-Kindergarten through junior high school. The theme for this week was "Blast from the Past." Children attending camp today will discuss patriotic themes all day, including singing and discussing soldiers and the country.

What a beautiful thing for our children to do...I sure am proud to be an American, serving our great country, in Iraq!
