Concert Band set for Sunday concert

The Brazil Concert Band, under the direction of Matthew S. Huber, will present "A Concert Kaleidoscope," Sunday, July 12, at 8 p.m., at Forest Park rain or shine.

The program by the Sudler award-winning band will include "An Irish Rhapsody," and "Themes From Offenbach," both arranged by Johnson, "Instant Concert," by Walters, "My Fair Lady," arranged by Bennett, "Guys and Dolls," arranged by Loesser, and "Melodic Caravan," by Yoder.

March favorites for the week will include, "Supreme Triumph," by Jewell, "The Crosley March," by Fillmore, "The Thunderer," by Sousa, "and "National Emblem," by Bagley.

Sounds like a great concert. i am also involved with a community band in Hackettstown, NJ, and we perform similiar arrangements. I recall Instant Concert as a good novelty piece.
