Residents collecting squirt guns for soldiers

Monday, July 13, 2009

Area residents are currently collecting new or used squirt guns to send to soldiers stationed in Iraq due to extreme temperatures.

The guns will be for soldiers in the 138th Quartermaster, stationed at the Brazil Armory.

A box will be set up at the YMCA of Clay County Friday until Saturday, July 25.

The squirt guns will be sent to the soldiers July 27.

this is a really good idea....we will surely appreciate this over here in Iraq, as temps get more than 130 during the day! Thanks so much for thinking of us, we are lucky to have the love and support from great people back home:) Hooah!

Thanks American Soldier for being willing to protect us here in America. You are loved and appreciated and if squirt guns are needed to help you keep cool then the least we can do is purchase them for you all. Again thanks and God bless.

Proud to be an American and a legal American at that.
